The JASIRI Youth Champion Boot camp is an initiative by Pathways Policy Institute targeting youth from the grassroots level who are passionate about advocacy around adolescent and youth matters and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), and climate change. This initiative is based on the power of informed youth influencing change.
The JASIRI Youth Champions Initiative focuses on key areas such as SMART advocacy approach, County Government budget advocacy, climate justice, gender issues, and communication skills, equipping youths to advocate for impactful change in their immediate communities.

The 1st JASIRI Youth Champions Bootcamp trained a cohort of 17 youth champions evenly distributed across Laikipia County's three sub-counties: Laikipia North, Laikipia East, and Laikipia West.

The 2nd cohort of the #JASIRI Bootcamp included Nakuru and Nyeri counties, training a total of 22 youth champions from three counties: Laikipia, Nyeri, and Nakuru.

The 3rd cohort, #JASIRI3, included new counties — Narok, Isiolo, Samburu, Machakos, and Marsabit — training a total of 38 youth champions from eight counties: Laikipia, Nyeri, Nakuru, Narok, Isiolo, Samburu, Machakos, and Marsabit.

The 4th cohort, #JASIRI4, focused only on Isiolo and Samburu counties, training a total of 24 youth champions.

The 5th cohort equipped 28 young advocates from diverse counties — Laikipia, Isiolo, Nakuru, Samburu, Nyeri, Narok, Marsabit, Nairobi, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, and Kajiado. Selected from a pool of 916 nationwide applicants, fellows gained skills through sessions on SMART advocacy, budget advocacy, SRHR and FP advocacy, and climate justice advocacy.

The 6th JASIRI bootcamp empowered SRHR and anti-FGM champions in Samburu, Narok, and Isiolo counties, training 19 youth advocates in the SMART advocacy approach and strengthening their skills in budget advocacy and accountability.
