Pathways Policy Institute (PPI) is a community-based policy and accountability non-profit organization, Meaningfully Engaging Communities (MEC) on Population Dynamics, Health, Environment, and Climate Justice. PPI aims to realise local solutions by strengthening community health systems to respond to health and climate challenges using a Primary Health Care (PHC) Lens.
PPI provides community-based advocates with avenues where their communities can meaningfully influence primary health, sexual reproductive health, and environmental policies by conducting research, training, and capacity strengthening.

Words from the leaders and community members we work alongside across Kenya's counties.
I've seen what drought does to our herds and to our girls' early marriage, lost school days, no access to health services, and Pathways helped me connect those dots into advocacy. My community's health and my community's land are not two different fights; Pathways helped me see that, and now I say it in every budget hearing I attend. Because of Pathways, I know my county's Family Planning budget has tripled since 2019, and I know it's because women like me kept showing up to ask for it. As a woman living through drought and climate stress, I learned that resilience isn't just about surviving it, it's about my right to choose if, when, and how many children to have. Pathways didn't just consult women in my community; they gave us the tools to write the health and climate policy that affects us.
