The IKO Project
IKO; is a Kiswahili Word meaning I KNOW ONE (IKO) is a project that envisions a provider-biased free society; aimed at recognizing and awarding Health care providers who are BOLD enough to offer Family Planning Services to adolescents and youth out of the conventional settings.
The project aims at identifying, motivating, and recognizing the BOLD health workers (Nurses and Community Health workers) and giving them a platform to speak out, mentor their peers and challenge societal mindset on Youth Access to Family Planning.
